The Creepy Hollow Sandwich!

A Creepy Hollow sandwich? Sounds interesting, doesn’t it!?
This recipe was developed and named on a Miller family camping trip, and continues to be one of their favorite midnight summer meals. The sandwich was named at our local campgrounds, Happy Hollow! Happy Hollow is a wonderful place to spend time with your family and enjoy those bright summer days that are always followed with warm evenings that can be spent snacking around the camp fire. But what’s the best thing to snack on is the question at hand. Well, Darrell recommends and introduces the Creepy Hollow Sandwich to you all!
One evening at Happy Hollow camp grounds, this specialty sandwich was being prepared. That same weekend, one of the friends accompanying the Miller’s on their camping weekend revealed that they had the campgrounds name wrong all along. This fellow had thought that they were camping at “Creepy Hollow”… soon after he was corrected that this was not a creepy place to camp, but a family-friendly, pleasant, and perfectly HAPPY place. From that weekend forward the sandwich was titled Creepy Hollow. By now you’re probably wondering, what is this sandwich?
Well allow me to explain.
The sandwich is a high stack of savory goodness, and will fulfil any late night campfire cravings.
Here is what you need!
The Creepy Hollow:
Bread
Thinly sliced Ribeye Steak - (currently $19.99/lb at Miller’s Meat Market)
Bacon - ($6.99/lb at Miller’s Meat Market)
A1 Sauce
Lettuce
Tomato
Onion
Pretty simple ingredients that combine together and make a delicious sandwich. Once you have your sliced steak cooked to perfection, and your bacon has been cooked to a crisp over the campfire, you begin to assemble. Pile your bacon and steak onto a hamburger bun, or use some toasted bread. Once you have all the meat you desire on your sandwich, continue adding flavor by letting cheese melt over the steak and bacon, then add onion, lettuce, and tomato to your liking. Once you have your stack of fresh flavor, you can’t forget to tie the whole thing together with A1 steak sauce. Juicy steak paired with bacon and other summertime flavors, doesn’t that sound delicious!? Surely nothing is more amazing than that combination, and if you prepare it around a fire with the ones you love it’s bound to be ten times better!
